Default Final choice 4 AWD springs.

After months of research, Ive decided on the Tanabe NF210 for 06 GS as my spring of choice for my awdIS250. From what ive seen they give the most equal drop all around. There are two members on CL that have done this successfully as well, so i hope to be a third.

If anyone can add anything to this PICS/Opinions please do. here are the pics of CL members that have done this to their AWD is's.(sorry dont have members names)

That's why coilovers are the best choice You can dial the drop in to perfection, and adjust it higher or lower whenever you want.

Looks good! There is no perfect Spring to lower the car. You will see the front have a minor gap difference with all springs. Some seem to be more then others and I think its the amount of drop. On my TeinS I have a small gap up front and NO gap in the rear. Partially due to tire size I ran.

I did measure and my car sits a little lower in the front (1/2") then the rear. We just cant stuff a large enough tire/rim set up to fill it in! The coilover you can go lower in the front too fill this voided area in but if I was any lower I would bottom out all over the place where I am at. I am happy with the look!

The OP's car looks really good!

There are also the Road Magnet springs that are made specifically for the IS250awd. They are a 2" drop and are on sale now in the vendor forum.

I have seen these on a members car and its a nice drop! Worth checking out for those who have the AWD IS!!! Its comparable to those who have the IS350 with the TeinS dropped like myself. I measured for comparo! Great Vendor also!!

Hi, has anyone had any issues with their oem shocks when you've just changed the springs to lower your ride?

Coilovers with shock & spring have been designed for variable height adjustments.

Its possible to shorten the life of your OEM shocks with aftermarket springs. No one has posted any troubles at this time.

Hey passnu2,
I see that you have Tein S tech springs on your IS in Windy city.
How is the ride different before lowering and after lowering?
