Help me to install LS400 calipers
I have no idea if my Axis Supermesh have a high or low disk. The specs of the rims is 19x8.5 with 40 offset. I know that I must have a clearance of 2.75" to fit the 95-00 LS caliper.
As you can see from the picture below, I only have 2 inches of clearance. In order to have another.75", I bought a set of 20mm(.78 inch) spacers to reach the clearance of 2.75".
Now the high or low disk question, I think I have a low disk since I have 2 inches of clearance and less than 2 inches in the upper spoke. (Please see pictures )
Will I be able to fit the LS caliper with 20mm spacers with that spoke design?
Front view of the wheel:
~~2 inches from the rotor to the spoke (bottom)
Less than 2 inches from the rotor to the spoke (upper)
Stock SC caliper clearance
Another one with measurement

You wont even need stretch tires with a 20mm spacer up front on a 19x8.5 +40. I have 19x9 +25 with 235/35 and i got plenty of room. even with a 25 mm spacer you should be ok as long as you have your fenders rolled on both.
