Nex is the bottom of the barrel.

If you need something inexpensive with height adjustability (without damper adjustability), you're better off with a set of Tein Basics.

Lexus GS is a high quality product, I wouldn't put anything low rent on it. If you're looking for drop with 20's the Tein CS or Basic will get the job done and still maintain a bit of the ride you're accustomed.

Search is your best friend. If you just want a nice drop and do not car about the adjustability then I would go with a spring/shock combo. They are cheaper and look/ride better. Coil overs are more for performance minded people.

if you want a good deal on coilovers. get a set if used Tein's or any other brand. you can probably find a set around $700 - $900

if you are looking for a drop and a good ride. i have the Tein Ha (pic in sig) which i really like. tires can easily be tucked and i can still go alittle lower. adjust height and adjust damper.

Some of those cheap brands have very little research and development. Materials used are of poorer quality, machining is not as precise, welds may not be as good, etc. Ask yourself, do you want to buy a set of coilovers that have the shocks blow out in 5k miles? Or worse yet, what if the bottom housing cracks and the entire unit fails...might not be too fun lol

search. i linked to a thread on vwvortex on a guy that used it and the shocks shattered into pieces after a pothole.
