ALL Tanabe DF210 OWNERS CHECK IN
There seems to be a lot of confusion as to how low the front and rear should sit on the GS 300. I just had mine installed with the GR2 shocks and the front is higher then rear. Did the guys at the shop install them the wrong way? I have like 1 finger space rear and 1 1/2 front. It is really upsetting me since the pictures I seen out there tell me that it should be all even. I think I will remove the wheel and check it myself. Is the spring marked anywhere F/R?
Everyone please post pictures of your Tanabe DF210
P.s. It snowed today, so I couldn’t really test these shocks, but so far I love the ride. It drives better then stock as far as handling and comfort goes.

My front is lower.
That sucks to hear, but I don't think you can install them the wrong way. They might have not been seated correctly and need to be spun a little bit or they could have been springs for a GS4xx.
Here's mine. I have a 430.

Hmmm, I drove the car for about 30 miles last night, and the rear came down by almost two inches, but the front is still in the air. I will take a picture and post it. Also the box should say what car they are from, correct?

wait. after install, you drove the car and the rear settled an add'l 2 inches? thats far too much to settle. if this did in fact occur, the springs may have not been positioned correctly during install, odd though.
also typically, our cars sit higher in the front than the rear. i assume you just had them installed within in the past 1-2 days. if you're now sitting 1 fing in rear and about 1.5 in front, be patient and give it a week or so. the springs still need to settle a bit. even still, .5 finger difference between front and rear i believe is nothing out of the norm.
