OK, I've looked all over the forums here regarding opinions on shocks and I basically have one question. I ordered some Espelir's yesterday for my 01 GS430 now what shocks should I get and why? I've read the reviews about the KYB's, Bilsteins, L-Tuned, and as well as aftermarket springs on stock shocks. Obviously stockies are not the best choice. I am trying to keep the luxury feel hence the reason why I bought the Espelir's since they have the closest feel to OEM spring rate. I am leaning towards KYB GR-2's since they are direct OEM replacement. I know that L-Tuned are discontinued but when I saw the setup of Espelir/L-Tuned on cuonggs300's car, I was in love. I have heard from 4ntvings that the Bilstein/Espelir combo isn't that great and it seems that he really didn't like his setup since he is getting rid of the Bilsteins. Also, it seemed like it didn't drop the car as low as the L-Tuned/Espelir setup cuonggs300 has. Anyway, guys give me your .02 on the best shock you think I should get and why out of the KYB, Bilstein, and if I can find them some L-Tuned shocks. Thanks! If need be, gladly post pics!

Glad you picked up a set of espelirs-they are really great springs and I wouldnt get anything else.

For the shocks, get KYB's-without a doubt. My friend has the esp/kyb setup and its nice. (and make sure you get the alignment done about 1-2 weeks after install!) I just dont know about the kyb warranty.
