NF210 + KYB VS. New OEM Shocks
I'm on the fence, I like the cushy ride of the OEM, but my shocks have 130k on them, so I'm sure they are shot. I have spoken with KYB and they say the take the stock valving of the OEM shock and increase it 10-15%, and the NF210's are also very close to stock spring rates if not 10-15% stiffer.
I installed the KYB GR2's in my Subaru and thought they were pretty stiff, I could feel every little joint in the road. I live in Upstate NY where the roads are horrific with potholes and such.
My question is this, is there anyone out there that has purchased new OEM shocks or had low miles OEM shocks and been able to compare to the NF210/KYb combo?
I'm worried it will be too stiff or too much feel of the road. I already feel the handling is pretty good, but do agree there is a little float on the expressway, but I'm installing all new bushings and the Daizen swaybars as well. I'm running stock 16's in the winter and hopefully 17-18's in the summer. Ride comfort is my greatest concern. I've done a bunch of searches and gathered as much data as I can, it seems everyone says the NF210/KYB combo rides great, but I am worried because of my previous experience with the KYBs.

Go with the NF210/KYB and forget about the daizen sway. The daizen sway will make you feel more bumps on the road. When you hit a dip, you're definitely going to feel it. Personally, I think the NF210/KYB setup handles and rides more comfortable than OEM suspension with daizen sways.
KYBs are already soft. If you think those are stiff, then go with OEM shocks.
