I dont think its worth it, especially since we dont know the brand. Plus the price is too good to be true. A reputable slotted/drilled rotor is already $100 a piece. This is $100 for rotors plus pads.

The thing with cheap drilled rotors is that they can warp or crack later down the line.

Brakes is the last area I would try and save money. ESPECIALLY on a GS. Already has underpowered brakes to start with.

Actually the brakes on the 2GS are pretty good. They were some of the best brakes in it's class at least when the 2GS was introduced.

The brakes don't "feel" good but they are very powerful. If you want to test how strong they are, drive 60mph and slam on the brakes all the way and see how fast you can come to a complete stop

Well that guy sure has good feedback, and almost all for rotors .....

How easy are the rotors to install? I have replaced plenty of brake pads, but never rotors.

Nope. Clublexus is the largest lexus board you'll find.

Front Brembo blanks for our cars are $46 per rotor and a pad set is $64. So $156+shipping from tirerack.com I think Lexoos meant all 4 corners for $350+

Here is the thing, 11 inch rotors with 2 piston caliper may have been OKAY back then, and I say okay because the SC400 had the same setup since 92. But for my car, being an '02... its just nonsense.

With new pads, and fluid, they are much better... but now try this... after you do that initial stop, accelerate back and and ATTEMPT to brake.............. so much fade, the car won't recognize which direction its headed.

Try the brakes on a new GS450H/430... or LS430/460/600hL. BIG, BIG difference. Heck, a 95LS had beefer brakes.

this is the biggest eh? it certainly seems that way cause i've googled for a while for another board. :P

but if you guys all wanted brembo blanks, slotteds, drilled or drilled and slotted (i know a vendor who cnc's the drilled onto the slotted disks) then i could put in word to the vendor. thats who i got my rotors from.
