Default Daizen LCA Bushings on 98 GS400

Is this a DIY job? Ive seen some DIY tutorials for the LS - is the GS400
pretty much the same? Im somewhat mechanical and have done the lower ball joints and outer tie rods on my GS400. I do have an arbor press available but have seen in some DIY tutorials that people use a big C Clamp....I also believe my caster arm bushings are shot - are those easy to replace? Any other recommendations about parts I should replace while Ive got the front end broken down would be greatly appreciated. Car has 132K on it.

Thanks in advance

It's a DIY job if you have lots of time on your hand. It's nothing that requires a mechanic engineering degree. The tough part is probably taking out the metal sleeve of the caster arm, and pressing in the daizen caster bushing without damaging it.

i've done ALL the bushings on my cars. well except the GS since i just got it. but anywho. taking out the old one is the hardest part. burn out the old with a torch, cut the sleeve with a hack saw, dremel the inside smooth (the hacksaw will slightly shred the hole up) then grease it up. use a long bolt with big thick washers to push in the new bushing. so its like a vice and you just squeeze in the new one by tightening up the bolt. wallah! easy as hell. maybe, if i remember, i'll make a DIY when i do the GS
