Default Another question about Tein Flex

When I started adjusting my Flexes I noticed that the threaded part was moving and I was able to thread it in or out of the bottom part. I want to make sure that I didn't thread it out to far. I would imagine that you need to keep a good bit in the bottom part for safety purposes. How many inches of thread should be visible in the front and rear for that matter??????

Sorry for my inability to describe what I'm after, but I hope you guys get what I'm asking.
