Default Refinished my front brake calipers today

Finally enough was enough. After driving the car now for 2 years and 25,000 miles the front brake calipers were looking nasty! Got out the tools and caliper paint today and tried my best to rejuvenate them.

looks good!! i've been trying to do my calipers w/ decals but i'm afraid i might messed it up.

I'm thinking of paint them silver w/ black decals.

James did you spray them silver first? Then paint the front of them black?

Thanks.. It's really not that hard to do, but takes some time and patience. Buffing the caliper with my drill took some time, then my first coat of paint I goofed and got a run so I let it dry and buffed that first layer of paint off and started over. I really didn't want to do anything flashy like red or lettering, but I think all silver with black letters would look pretty good too.

No I didn't paint anything silver. I just buffed the calipers with a wire brush thing that attaches to my drill. I then cleaned off the dust and painted only the black section.

Nice either case! I am trying to decide if I want to powdercoat mine or not. I too was thinking all silver, with black lettering.
