Default Making the Tein CS's lower

I remember reading a thread I stumbled upon about changing out this piece on the car that makes the Tein CS lower. It wasn't actually on the coilover itself but another part. They were saying that a couple people had that with no problems. I believe it was out in cali. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't find the thread anymore. I have my coils on its way and was looking into this as an option if I want it lower. Thanks in advance!

If you could find this that would be AWESOME!! That's the only reason I don't like the CS...they don't go low enough for me

There is a thread somewhere that I came accross about it. I was wondering why more people weren't talking about it, but I'm positive I read something in regards to this.
Bighitbike you got a new GS? I remember reading your post about the accident.

I also read it too a few months back. I believe they removed the lower threading ring. I could be wrong but...but someone was able to do it.

If you're in NYC, you'll probably never see the lowest setting on your Teins anyway so it likely won't make a difference. There's a limit in terms of functionality when dealing with our paved streets of gold (I mean holes).

What tire and bodykit combo (if any) are you planning on running?

Nah not yet, just getting my mod plan set up. It's the only car I REALLY like that's out there in my price range.

do a search on RCA-roll center adaptors and it will drop your front end another inch by raising the steering knuckle.

not sure how to lower the rears even further.

Papi - I just want the option of being able to do so and as far as what other plans I have for the car I'm not too sure. 19's will be in the future just haven't decided which ones.

this is the hard part since these are available in japan or you can have someone custom made here in the state.

i don't think a lot aftermarket suppliers carries these.

good luck on your search.

I don'tknow why you would want to go lower. I have tein cs and I lowered it, not even all the way and it was too low. Rubbed everywhere front and back and it was tucked front and back. Unless it will be parked at a show, why would you ever want it that low.
