What offsets do you have with your Supra TT Brakes?
I have searched to see if there is a thread that already answers this question, but I have not found one that is specific.
For those with TT brakes, What offsets are your wheels and what size are they? I just recently purchased a set of TT brakes and need to figure out what the best route to take is. I really do not want to use spacers, but I can not figure out what offsets will work. I know the wheels also need to be high disk wheels, but from what I can tell as long as you are using 18s or larger you are ok. I currently have L-Tuned (OZ Salinas) 18s. They are 18 x 8with a +45 offset in the front. I am thinking that these will not work unless I use spacers. A buddy at work has a set of SSR GT7 18s that I was hoping might work, but they are +42 offsets and I am not certian they will work either.
Those who have TT brakes or anyone that knows... What are your offsets and what wheels are you using?! Maybe even throw in a pic if you have it.
Thanks in advance!

you are ok on the size because you only need 17" or higher and i think people have claim to have used 16s with a little grinding on the caliper. as far as ofsets, just check what the tt wheels are or even 95 and higher LS wheels. i think they are in high 40s maybe even 50, search those wheels. But like i said before and you already mentioned it, the rims have to be high disk to clear the caliper with out any spacer, mod, ect..
you can also go check how much clearance you have now from stock caliper to the blades of your current rims. i am not 100% sure, but i think you need an additional 25mm to clear TT BBK.

As GSfonzy already mentioned....
Offset really doesn't have much to do with BBK clearance, that's more dependent on the disk profile of the wheel.

I haven't heard of anyone using 16's with Supra TT. From my understanding the rotors wouldn't clear a 16" wheel and at minimum you would need 17's.
I'm running 19 x 8.5 +35 and still had to shave quite a few mm's off the caliper face to avoid going the spacer and longer stud route.

i heard a few people, but now that i think about it i think they were talking about the rears drag racing set ups they shave, grind the calipers to make them clear. anyways, 17s and higher with high disk clearance is needed for TT set up

OK.... I grabed a 2000 LS400 we had here at work and tried my buddies wheels on to see how much clearence there was. The LS400 was the closest thing we had to check with so I went with it. There was tons of room in there so I am thinking I will be ok. What do you all think?
Oh... the wheels are a +42 offset. Once I had the wheel on there what you all said made better sense. Thanks for all the imput thus far! I really appreciate it!
