Default question about supra tt brake caliper wheel clearance

there are a lot of posts on supra brake caliper conversions, but i'm having trouble finding out a bit of info that i need...

does anyone know how much more the supra tt calipers stick out in comparison to the standard gs calipers?

there is a set of wheels i am hoping to get, and i don't want to go the expensive route of buying them and then finding out they don't fit

they are 17x8 work rezax with a +35 offset. they will obviously work with stock gs calipers, and they are currently on a mark III supra with no issues either... but i know the mark III has smaller brakes than the mark IV.

thanks!

I think that translates into a 15mm spacer. The caliper sticks out at the place where most spokes would interfere (esp. 17"), so it's hard to give an exact answer based on rim width and offset.

IIRC and FYI, when you take the stock front GS calipers and lay them on the ground side by side with the supra tt calipers, the tt calipers are basically twice as big. With stock 17" gs rims, it translates into a 15mm spacer (or 20 i forgot).

It is really hard to give a definitive answer without knowing anything about the disk type.

And with the spacer you're going to need extended studs almost as a guarantee.

19 x 8.5 +35 is what I'm running now but I shaved quite a bit off the caliper to make them fit because I didn't want to go to a spacer. I clear the caliper now by millimeters.
