I agree, I guess Lexus did not want to compromise on their smooth ride at the time. I guess from what I read on the new cars they are learning their lesson. I also think they should do more to reduce weight. Aluminum hood, aluminum suspension parts ect. I mean my miata has an aluminum hood and it's a cheap car
I think I might try it on the track on dec 8th just to see how it does my bet is that even with the higher top speed due to better acceleration the miata will have better lap times. (arroyo seco)

Well after about 3 months of driving, the rear bars started to squeak.

I jacked up my car last month, loosened the bushings and added grease around the bushing. the squeaking was gone for a while, but now it's back again. I will take them off completely next time to apply grease.

so, don't forget to add grease. You will regret it if you don't.
Regretting now 5 years later! :P

My front pass squeak like my car broke!

People who've used Prothane or other bushings instead of the factory stiff rubber that comes with TRD kits: any issues with the rear sway? I noticed the shape is different from the usual D shaped bushing. Bolt holes still line up with a universal bushing and bracket?

So, I installed my TRD Sportivo bars this week. I had nothing to worry about bushing-wise because the stock brackets and TRD bushings were compatible. The Sportivo setup feels great with DF210s on stock struts. A lot more confidence, very little harshness. Feels just like an OEM sport option should.

Thanks
Just for the record I can confirm the MOOG K80081 is the proper aftermarket bushing to use for TRD Front sway bar.. Rear I'm not sure as I'm running the adjustable Cusco bar back there.
