Default Opinions needed on Supra Brakes

Hey Guys,

I am able to get a set of BRAND new Supra TT front brakes for under $650 through my work. They would include the calipers, rotors, shim kit and pads.

I guess what I'm asking is should I do it or should I hold off on the "pretty" BBKs?

Any input would help!

TIA!

Well, a pretty BBK will cost you at least $1500+. On the other hand, the supra brakes will cost ya $650. If you use the TT brakes for a little bit, you should still be able to sell them here for around $500 or so. That's what I was doing for a while. Use TT brakes until I had enough money for a set of Rotora BBK

BTW Jeff, I'm picking up Bill's GS430 this Sunday.

I was thinking the same thing. That perhaps I could do the TT brakes for now, on the other hand I COULD just stay stock until the BOSS approves the pretty BBKs!

Thanks for the input, Jeff!

BTW again, your car looks awesome!!! Saw the video and that looks like LOTS of fun! If you're ever in Houston, drop me a PM and we can meet up!

supra brakes are almost more than enough to stop your car, a bbk is more for looks imo.
