Default decisions on what coilovers to go with

well i've been doing some research on coilovers for the 2is. what i am really looking for is a stiffer and more responsive ride, improved handling and crisp corner turns. ive narrowed the decisions down. maby you guys can help me decide. for those of you with any of these, feedback would greatly be appreciated

from what i heard, the TEIN's are good.
I would go with the TEIN CS with EDFC.
Lets you control the ride.

I like how you can control the ride with the EDFC. sometimes i don't like it stiff, i can go relaxed or vice versa.

i hear the SS is compatable with the EDFC as well. that was my original plan, if i was going to buy the TEIN SS.

i have Tien CS with EDFC. i like it because it rides like it stock. you'll immediately notice that there is no more "nose diving" when you brake hard. i dont do any cornering. my "cornering" is taking freeway entrance/exits alittle bit faster now but no slalom or cone driving.

my opinion if you want "stiffer and more responsive ride" you will have to modify all of your suspension: bushings, strut bars, etc.

well i just ordered the TEIN SS to try it out. one question; what setting should i put it at for optimal performance. i hear that if you put it at the stiffest setting for the front the car will understeer. so should i put it at a more stiffer setting in the rear? can anyone help me with this. and if the TEIN SS doesnt work out ill probably sell them and buy the JIC Magic FLT

You can also try looking into the BG Coilovers. They are more expensive but you pay for what you get.

i keep it on the stiffest on the rear and around the middle setting on the front. its still pretty damn stiff. but thats how i like it. pretty much nothing like stock unless its a smooth road

I chose HKS Coilovers.. rides pretty nice, much more responsive. Though I got the Sports Package, I like these better.

Can't really go wrong with HKS right?

Honestly, $0. My car is the US test vehicle for the coilovers. I've tried Tein Coils and Eibach Springs for the IS. Have had multiple suspension setup in my previous FD and RX-8, this set rides pretty solid, so I know how a decent suspension would feel like.
