Default Tanabe NF210 & KYB GR-2 - Before & After

After 2.5 months of riding 4x4, I couldn't stand it any longer and purchased Tanabe NF210's & KYB GR-2's. It was SO annoying riding stock after being used to L-Tuned S/S on my old GS3. Here are the before and after pics. I cannot tell yet if the ride is more soft or firm than the L-Tuned springs/shocks I had on my GS300. However, I do notice it's a tad more firm than stock, and the front drops slightly more than the L-Tuned. Overall still very comfortable. I could actually bear a slightly harsher ride. Probably wouldn't have minded DF210's now. I measured the drop before and after from the bottom of wheel's center cap to bottom of fender. Front drop was 1.2" or a little more. Rear drop was about 1.0", which is a little more than the 0.8" advertised. Obviously not an agressive drop, but I'm completely satisfied. Doesn't bring too much attention but just enough to notice. And the wheel gap will decrease if I get bigger wheels later.

BEFORE (and SO hideous!)

I think Rancho shocks came stock!

AFTER

Nice...

They always drop the front more than the rear... Since most cars have a larger gap in the front than the rear...

Looks much better. I hear ya about the DF210's. I ordered them over the NF210's. At least you lost the truck look

Trust me the difference is there. You wont get that "slammed" look, but it's definitely better than OEM height.

Default Re:

I'm putting on my new '07 GS430 18's this Saturday or next, so the wheel gap will decrease a little more nice the wheels and tires are taller. I'll throw another pic up then...
