Default Suprise..Suprise..JDM Rear Lower Brace
All,
I just purchased a JDM Rear Lower Cross Brace off E-Bay, I figured I'd try since it was only $89 comparied to the TOMS brace for $330 and since a few other members purchased the JDM roof spoiler from the same seller and was very happy with fit and quality I figured why not....

First impressions: since I never used the TOMS brace I cant really compare, but for $89 you cant go wrong, DAMN was I suprised how well this piece performs..it really complements my suspension I would give this mod a 2 thumbs up..

Nice! So u got it installed? post actual pics. Install hard at all? Did it come with any hardware?

I just finished the install....I thought it would be easy, but didnt realize 2 of the front bolts where for the gas tank straps and I needed a couple of floor jacks to hold it up.....took me about 2 hours would did it faster if I didnt strip one of the bolts, no hardware needed, just re-use the 2 bolts on the gas tank straps and .2 bolts by the rear wheels it lines up perfectly..

I just ordered one of those too about a week ago lol. It's still not here yet, but I'm anxiously awaiting! How long did it take to recieve yours?

This bar looks like it has more bracing than the Tom's bar too. For the price, why not! I've already had mine ordered. I'm just waiting for it to come in

I guess it would make it easier to install if the gas tank was empty huh?

Hmm, interesting. It actually is blue like TRD sways, Toms braces are red or silver.

lol....the gas tank was almost empty thats the funny thing, lying on your back at an weird angle makes it harder,
