Need source for steering rack bushings
The driver's side steering rack bushing is deteriorated due to , you guessed it, a leaky power steering pump. The steering wanders plenty becuase of it is no long held tight to the chassis. The passenger-side mount is OK though.
My problem is that this bushing seems to be unavailable unless you buy the whole rack!
I figure the rack rebuilders must have a source for these --somewhere.

Andrew Vlamos from Oz makes replacement rack bushes for the drivers side (fits SC & later Supra's), Toyota supply the single large "grommit" for the pass side.
If you have trouble locating the Vlamos parts they are available from www.tifbitz.co.uk, postage will be minimal as they weigh just a few ounces.
