Suspension and Brakes Springs, shocks, coilovers, sways, braces, brakes, etc.

The IS250 brake dust is just as bad as the IS350's, proof inside.

Default The IS250 brake dust is just as bad as the IS350's, proof inside.

I washed my car, cleaned all the wheels. No brake dust in site. Then I went for a drive to Laguna Beach and Newport Beach from North OC.

I just drove 54 miles round trip. No heavy traffic at all, no stop and go, etc. Just a normal drive.

This is how much brake dust I get just after 54 miles of driving!! This sucks.

Us IS250 owners need a TSB too.

Ditto, I'd sure like some brake pads that don't turn our wheels black within a few miles.

Has anyone had any luck getting dealer to replace brake pads for IS250?

Keep us posted on how well (or not) the EBC's work. I'm getting really tired of cleaning wheels all the time. Our RX hardly generates any brake dust, and I don't drive it gently.

i just ordered ceramic pads from satisfied brakes. i wanted to buy another brand other then ebc. i should have them on within a few weeks. i'll definitely report on their performance, feel and of course, dusting. i would have prefered hawks though.

I'm serious guys..

Lexus of Mobile is doing or maybe honoring what people have said about the IS250 and their brake dust issues. When I had my car in.. my service rep said an IS250 was in for the same thing, but their parts wouldn't work on my car.. the 350.

Perhaps it hasn't been given the green by Lexus, but apparently my dealership has taken it into their own hands. = /

If you are absolutely determined to get less brake dust pads, buy the low dust pads from sewell/lexus-parts.com

All you guys can do is call Lexus corporate. If enough people call with the issue they will do something about it. Look at the IS350.

My dark colored car gets dirty pretty easily. I'm gonna call Lexus Corporate and ask them to issue a TSB for paint that doesn't get dirty so easily.
