Default For those of you with 2IS or 3GS 18s on a 2GS....

I have seen a few guys on here with the new 18x8/8.5 IS wheels on their GS, and I really like the look. I know those wheels are a 45mm front and 50mm rear offset, and I am concerned about the rears sitting in too far in the wheelwell. I haven't seen a rear shot to show how far in the wheels sit. I was planning on running a 275/35/18 in the rear and a 245/40/18 up front, and going with the full chrome wheels on my Black GS430. Would anyone by chance have some side and rear shots of that setup? Chrome or silver I don't care, I just want to see how they look, and if any of you guys used spacers for the right fit. I bought these as well as a full chrome set of the 3GS 18x8s, I am just trying to figure out which ones I wantto run. Should I be concerned about running a 275 tire on a 8" rim? By the way I have an L-tuned s/s setup also. The 3GS wheels have 5mm less offset than the rears of the 2IS so I thought they might look a little better in the rear wheelwell. Any thoughts or opinions???

Thanks!! Pics plllllleazzzzzz!!

A 275 wont be a great combination with an 8" wide rim. If you check any of the manufacturers websites (or a summit racing catalog) you will see that a 275 is recommended for a minimum of a 9" wide rim in that profile. (275/35/18) You would probably be better off running a 245.

A 275 on a rim that is too narrow is going to cause poor handling as the tire will be bowed out on the sidewalls. I'm not saying a 275 won't physically be able to be squeezed onto the rim, it's just not a good idea if handling is a prime concern of yours.
