i have the same problem, i got brembo rotors...and some pads it clicks every time i brake , sounds like coming from the rear, happens more often when braking at slow speeds , i am sure getting new pads will not help? or maybe it will? i asked the tech guy at lexus he said cuz the rotors are new so it will happen and it should go away that was like 5 months back the clicking sound is still there...

Get a new shim kit from lexus. It happens to quite a lot of GS.

The rotors shouldn't have any relation with the clicking that you're describing, unless the holes that goes over the wheel studs are too big, then you got yourself a bigger problem.

Sounds like you need a shim kit like GSteg mentioned. I had the same problem, but with regular rotors. My pads were moving around a bit in the calipers..

the shim kit holds the pads in place so it doesn't move around in the caliper. It should be about $40 at the dealer. I think that price is per axle (both the rear)

The sound is normal........Even with the shims you will get some buzzing type sound while braking. That is the sound of the pads touching the surface. Remember, theses rotors are slottled & crossdrilled, NOT SMOOTH..Try rubbing your nails across a grater and a face mirror for example... Which do you figure will yield more sound?

Get blank rotors, or an exhaust, because no matter how many times you will change the shims, it will not fix the problem.

The sound it makes is like when you were a kid and you had a pop sickle stick tape to your bike so you here the clicking sound as you rode down the street thats what my car sounds like my kids tell me they here me coming down the street is that the sound you say it going to make.

Mine must not be normal cause mine doesn't make no clicking noise.
