question about slotted brake rotors
is it true that you cannot machine slotted brake rotors because it will brake the cutting bit on the lathe?

all i know is that the machine shop i went to turned me away because of the reason stated above

cutting slotted rotors is just like cutting regular rotors... exception is, you have to do lighter cuts... you can't do deep cuts... same with cross drilled rotors...
i've done them without doing any damage to my rotor or lathe...
