Default brake feel relative to seat position: is this normal with the 2gen?

Okay fellas, i have always thought my brake feel was too soft and low compared to others i have driven and the braking of my car seems to be unimpressive to me. (at least to me)
I am 6ft 2" tall and always keep my seat position at the lowest in terms of height and as faraway as possible from the wheel.
Anyways yesterday while playing with the seat memory, i kept position one as described above and decided to set position 2 the opposite way; i raised the seat to the highest with the backrest tilted back a little bit more.
i was in traffic today and decided to switch to position2 and upon acc and braking, i noticed the brake was stiffer and higher.
i know its not just my head playing games cos i tried it several times on the way home. ; when at a stop light, i would switch to 1 and observe the regular soft brake which i have had and then at another stop switch to 2 and experience the stiffer, higher brake which i like.
Has anybody experienced this or is this normal with our cars?
Is the brake height/fell related to the seat position at all?

It's all in your head. Have it replaced.

I know what you're talking about.

I think it's the way you plant your foot on the brake pedal. I too feel the car stops better when i'm sitting closer, but that's only because I dont have to stretch my leg out as far.

i have cross drilled rotors with thermo brakepads which were put in around july of last year.
anyways, i like it better and if there is no connection with the memory and the brakes,i will still leave it the new way.
might add steel brake lines next summer. i hear they improve and strenghten brake feel.

It's just you... the brakes are the same, it just feels diffrent with the seat position. Try moving the seat a bit forward on your number 1 setting and see if it works for you. I know sitting too far back would make it seem like the brakes are weaker

Like others have stated it probably is just the seating position that makes the braking feel better. I'm also 6'2" and I'm pretty satisfied with the overall braking of my GS. I think I'll eventually add steel braided brake lines also.

BTW, someone is selling the steel brake lines in the 2GS selling section on here for like $80 shipped.
