Tanabe sprgs/bilstein vs. H&R/bilstein
I need a spring and shock combo ASAP. I am ordering 20 in. rims so I need the rims to fit and not rub against the fender. Also, I want the ride to be comfortable and not too stiff.
Does anyone else have either one of these set ups? Also where can I get the best deal on either one of these set ups?? Thanks for your input.....
Mahalo,
Kimo

Get the Bilsteins from GS4Will. $425 delivered (though I am not sure about Hawaii if delivery is included).
As for Springs, I am running Eibachs with much satisfaction. If you are looking to go to 20", you may not want to drop much more than the Eibach drop anyhow. Drop is 1 inch on 300/400 and 1.3" on 430 (don't know why lower on 430, but my 430 dropped that much). Eibach's are stiff but not punishing - combined with Bilsteins make for a nice ride. Add the TRD Sways and possibly a TRD front chassis brace or STB and you're golden.
Get the Eibach's from Todd at T&M Engineering - about $235 plus S&H (www.tmengineering.com)
Enjoy and welcome to the club.
