Default Brake Pad Help

Whats a good brand of brake pads for about $75? The OEM ones I have give off too much brake dust. Can someone give me a brief explaination of ceramic pads? thanks.

so basically, hawk pads are the way to go?

On my car I will go with the Hawk Ceramics. I have used Akebono's on our Forester and they work very well.

HOWEVER these do not stop as well as Metal Master or EBC Green pads. They are more agressive which also means they wear on your rotors more.

Since I am not driving the GS road racing and not heat cycling these pads teh ceramics will work just fine.
