Lexus OEM Brakes.....
I just got new rotors and brake pads installed by a Lexus dealer @ 20k ago, and its seem like i need to replace them again b/c the are starting to sqeak. I am riding 20's with stock brakes, are they suppose to go out this fast? i paid top dollars for Lexus to do this but since they didnt last me that long, should i go elsewhere to midas or something>?

Yah.....pads should have plenty of meat on there. Whoever installed it failed to use ANTI-SQUEAL paste between the pad and the pad bracket. When this happens....dust and particles get logged in there....and starts making noise.

Check them out though. With bigger wheels (20"+), I would recomend bigger brakes. More rotational mass needs more stoping power. That is if they are wearing that quickly.

depending on the noise...the tech may not have installed the shims or not used any/enough caliper grease on the shims, but you would have noticed this much sooner than 20k miles later. from my experience, the black synthetic caliper grease is much better to use than the white lithium soap based grease (the lithium grease just clumps and attracts dirt). also, they should have lubed the caliper's sliding pins, definitely recommended any time you service your brakes.
