Default S/S combo question for you suspension gurus out there?

I have searched and read many threads on this forum and still can't make a decision. I have a set of Eibach Pro Kit and have been waiting to get some dampers to go with them since my stock S/S have seen 93000 miles. I am planning to stick with my stock rims (17 in). I wonder how the Eibach prokit/Bilstein sport would feel (ride and handling wise) compared to stock? What I'm looking for is the 1" drop, some improvement in handling, and little sacrifice of the ride. Therefore, I am also considering the Eibach prokit/KYB. If any one has experienced or knowledge about these 2 combos, please share your knowledge?
Thanks.

bilstein sports are great shocks. it will firm up your ride and your handling will also improve.

i would bypass kyb and stick with the quality of bilsteins.

keep in mind that your stock comfy ride will be gone to a more firmer ride.

Hi there,
Thanks for your input on Bilstein. Could you tell me how much stiffer the ride will be with Bilstein sports? Is it 50% sitffer, 100% stiffer compared to stock? I haven't had much experience with modding cars so I'm a little scared. I do like a sporty car but I don't want my CD changer to skip all the time.
I guess the L-tuned S/S would be something that I like. However the L-tuned dampers are not available anymore. What do you think about the Eibach/Bilstein HD combo?
Thanks.

i would do the eibach/bilstein sport combo. i have no experience with the bilstein HD shocks.

your ride will stiffen up by 50% and your cd player will not skip. it's a nice combo and your ride will handle better then your current setup.

even if you found l-tuned shocks, i would bypass these and go for the quailty of bilsteins. i think they still off life time warrante for thier shocks.

That sounds pretty good. With this particular set up (Eibach/Bilstein sport), does it still feel like a luxury car? Do you think I would find more rattles or hear more road noise. Yes, they still offer the life time guarantee but so does KYB.

i don't think you'll hear noise if it's installed correctly. luxury ride, it's subjective but it will be firmer without the float.

you'll hear more road noise with your tires.
