Ok its about that time. I want to lower my 2001 GS430 and I really can't afford to buy coilovers at the moment. So could some of you vets up on here recommend the best lowering kit to buy? And I need to know each and every piece to buy in detail and how much I should pay so I dont mess this up thanks a alot.

well you can buy lowering springs and struts for your GS since you dont want to go with the coilover route, i had the tein h-tech and s-tech on mine before i went with the CS coilovers, i liked the s-tech/KYB a lot, it rode very comfortably, handeled a lot better than stock and looked much better. Im selling that set up because i got my Tein CS coilovers, let me know if you'd be interested in those!

i think i read somewhere that lowering springs is bad for the suspension in the long run. it is recommended that you do whole coilover setup.
