Default Pro-Act Brake Pad Install Question

The Akebono Pro-Act pad comes with a glued on anti squeal shim. Do you also install the OEM slotted inner anti squeal metal shim?
Or just glue on the Pro-Act shim and install into the caliper?
Thanks,

Yes, use both the inner and outer shims with the new pads, even though the pads have a plate glued to it. Be sure to grease the shims and the pad mounting points, prior to reinstalling. Interlocking shim tabs are installed away from the disk; both sides.

The two shims per pad are part of the caliper assembly, independant of the pads. They are always reused.
