why are my brakes noisey when i press on them? i can hear the pads..does anyone else have this experience? its starting to really annoy me. when they are wet, it sounds even worse.

im positive they are not worn. when i did a supra upgrade, the sound was still there. my parents avalon does the same thing. what can it be?

When you say noisy, I assume its not a squealing or squeaking sound. If thats the case, then its time for some new pads. No, make that wayyy past time for new pads if you are hearing those noises

If its a sound like cloth sliding on a table. Or a better example would be dragging a box on the carpet. Thats just the sound of the brake pads pressing against the rotor. It's perfectly normal. The bigger and more powerful the brakes are, then the louder it will be.
