Daizen Control Arm Bushings Installed
Got my daizen control arm bushings installed by Todd @ TMengineering today.
Also had him install my Supra TT brakes while i was there.
Bolts on the arms were jacked up by unknown place (Car was bought used and didnt notice till todd started working on the arms)
Wasted 2 hours of his time fixing all the messed up bolt holes by retapping it to get it fixed. Thank you todd.
I felt really comfortable leaving my car with him.

HA! That's funny......I bought my car used as well and Todd (when installing my Daizen bushings) indicated that some of the bolts and bolt holes were messed with and that there must have been some previous suspension work done. I guess it's easy to mess the control arms up?

I ordered a set, but the mechanic convinced me to wait to determine if the L-tuned shocks & springs were enough of a change. Since the GS400 is my wife's daily driver, I was concerned that the bushings may make it too harsh.

Holly, are you being really general minded here? ie. changing the bushings isn't noticeable enough to worry about, or, are you saying that's "no difference" at all? Cuz, sure seems to me that poly transmits more vibrations than rubber. Saying there's no difference just seems a little.......subjective.

Considering that these bushings take out vibration compaired to the stock ones, I dont see how a product that is designed to reduce the vibration when braking, causes vibration.
And I will say this. Mechanics hate bushings. They will try to avoid to do them. Even alignment professionals hate pressing out bushings.
