Default Got my Daizen bushings! ::Update::

I went ahead and ordered the Daizen sway bar bushings along with the steering rack bushings since the rack is getting replaced on Friday, just got them in today, I'm highly looking forward to see how much of a difference in that alone will do. The shocks/strusts are completely shot along with all other bushings, which will be replaced soon as well, so I'll keep updates on how the changes help.

::Update:: I just got my new rack in along with new outer tie rod ends, Daizen steering rack bushing set, and Daizen sway bar bushings instealled as of 04/03/2006, and WOW, this is a WHOLE NEW CAR. Fixed my steering wheel, now it's straight instead of being WAY off, it's tight, crisp, much faster turn in, even braking is improved slightly. No complaints at all, also this time I only had the front sway bar bushings replaced since my mechanic was working in that area, didn't specify for him to do the rears as well, which is fine for now since I'm working on getting the rest of the suspension done soon enough.

Overall, yes, the Daizen bushings are WAY worth the low cost. You will be absolutely amazed.

Also, my rack, which I got from steeringrack.com, I wouldn't reccomend them in the future. Their work is moderate, didn't provide new seals, poor customer service, good price at least.

Highly recommended to get those bushings changed out. The price is so reasonable!

Daisens bushings suck.....too much rubber with those bushings. Infact, I had too change mine out to OEM bushings after I felt the spungy ride...Just my thoughts on the daisens...Good luck...my daisen bushings ended up in my garbage can....

i think you are confused, *daizens* bushings are polyureathane (sp?) and (according to everyone who's had em here) make your ride 'less spungy'

I installed Daisens on my Sc400 lower control arms, I greased them and installed and then removed and trashed them...I notice a big difference between OEM and Daisens new bushing and the rubber or poly is alot more which gives you a spongy suspension feel...I am now running new supra LCA with new OEM bushings on my sc400 and that was after trying out my original LCA with the new daisen bushings that are in some trash land fill today...Daisens will be fine for most and it will be an improvement from your original 10 or more years old stock bushings, but they were not good enough for me. I have personally tested them all and drove with them and can tell the difference... Daisens are not as good as everyone thinks but will work better then your originals that is all I am saying.........
