call any Lexus dealer and ask for the parts counter. They'll give you all the part numbers you want.

Since you are looking to keep the stock ride and feel, parts will be easy to find.

I have all the part numbers you need, so I'll post them later.

Looks like you have a pretty good list going there. You will have a new car after all these bushings and mounts are replaced. I know Lexus carries the sway bar bushings for about $12 each and I paid $70 each for my Lexus end-links.

The steering rack mount for the passenger side is available thru Lexus for about $13. However, the dirvers side rack mounts are only available thru eBay for about $45 or Vlamos for about $70.

More to come...

Project300...looking forward to your post. I'm still debating whether to change all bushings wholesale or just pick and choose the ones I need. Definitely doing the LCA bushings at this point but it would be still nice to have a consilidated post of all parts, numbers, and prices.

Are the front and rear sway bar endlinks the same? Is the toyota part equivalent?

I just purchased and installed a set of rear sway bar endlinks on my SC300. Cost $40.75 each from Carson Toyota. I bought the accompanying nuts as well (4) which cost an additional $3.32, not a big deal.

Lexus rear sway bar endlink part #48830-24010

Being as I've gone through the process of dealing with lca bushings, read threads upon threads about poly vs. OEM bushings, checked to see how much shops charge to torch out and press in new bushings, etc...I am now a firm believer in just avoiding the entire situation and going straight to Supra lca's. This IMO is the more cost effective route to take and it addresses several issues while only spending a single amount on installation.

I'll elaborate if necessary.

This is an exellent post. I just want to restore the stock ride. I need all this info. in one place as well.

maybe once we have it all together, we could get carson to do a group buy on them, and save a few more dollars.

I tried that bro, it's not worth it. It will save you like an additional $2 at most and you'd have to wait for the GB to end before your parts are ordered/shipped out. Buying them straight out from Carson is about as inexpensive as it gets

Like mikeloc said, go with the Supra front LCA's from Carson Toyota. They have slighly stiffer bushings. It's a no-brainer unless you really want to spend the extra cash for Lexus arms for a truly stock ride, which is where Vlamos is good. Last I checked, Lexus didn't even carry their bushings separate from the arms, but your part numbers are correct on the bushings.

Front Upper Control Arm (L) 48630-29046
Front Upper Control Arm (R) 48610-29046

All of the shaded parts were replaced when I did my rebuild plus the arm itself.
More later.....

That rear bushing (#48655-24050) is normally the first one to go. If your suspension is suffering then it's a good bet that particular bushing is shot on both sides. If you're poor at the moment, replace those 2 bushings alone and your ride will improve dramatically...but if you can muster a bit more spring for the Supra arms and just be done with it.

Only the passenger side steering rack bushing is offered from Lexus for about $15. The driver's side ones can be found on eBay.

I used the Vlamos bushings for the driver's side because they weren't available anywhere else at the time and I paid $70(US) shipped.

This is a good thread, just saved me some search time........

so if im reading this correctly, the Supra lower control arm is a direct bolt on replacement on the SC? Any difference between the SC300 and SC400? I wouldnt think so, but just checking.

Would it be the Supra TT or Supra N/A control arm? And why not go with a new SC control arm, are the Supra ones that much less $$$$....and how much are they?

I take it the Supra Upper Contorl Arm isnt a direct repalcement?

I will search in the meantime............

supra control arms are a direct replacement. there arent any differences between the 400 and 300. you can use either control arms from the supra but i think its the tt that has stiffer bushings (it may be both, someone else can chime in on that) they supra control arms are about half the price of lexus control arms with a stronger bushing from carson toyota. ($300 vs. $600). the stock lexus upper arms are like $150 new so u might as well get those since they arent expensive but the supra ones should work too.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I've captured most of the information here.

As for my situation...I've gotten under the car and really looked at the busings. The front LCA bushings are visibly worn whereas all the others look pretty well intact. I've already recieved new front Lexus LCA bushings and will try installing them this week. Will let you guys know how it turns out.
