Default 2003 GS430 Looking for a clean drop

Hey guys....sorry if this has been answered already... but i have been searching and haven't found anything.... I have a gs430 and i am getting my iforged 20's in about 2 weeks.... i would liek to know if anyone has any input on what springs i should purchase if i wanted my car to have a drop where the fender is about to touch the tires without rubbing when there are three people in my car. I just got a ticket so i need to find out which spring/shock config i could use to get my car the way i want it temporarily until i have enough money to get coilovers....

So i am looking for any advice on the best and lowcost setup.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I will go ahead and tell you to wait and get coilovers first, unless install cost is not an issue. I'm pretty sure that's what everyone will say, although I have the L-Tuned S/S set-up and am very satisfied. With 20's though you may want a little lower than L-Tuned can provide.

A ticket for what? I too will rcommend waiting. Istallation costs are about the same so why pay it twice or do the job twice if you are DIY.

If the wait isnt exceptionally long for the coilovers then I would just wait. If you absolutely have to have it dropped now then I know Espelir springs give a nice drop. I had eibach before I was educated on the coilovers and the ride was fair but it was only a 1" drop. But for the price it was ok

Daizen springs will get you about 2" in front and 1 3/4" in rear. They specialize in suspension upgrades for Lexus only.

Cost for the set $350 from TM Engineering

I went with the espelir springs and l-tuned shocks, and I think it rides better than stock. I also have the 20in iforged aeros and it doesn't rub at all even with people in the back.

I have 20" iFored wheels on my car and if you would like pm me your email address I will take some pictures of my car with the wheels on and this way it will give you a good look on how yours may sit.

I may be selling my L-tuned as soon as I find out if I can get my J.I.C. Magic coilovers by next month. Although my car is a 1998 GS 400, so you may want to check to see if they will fit your 03.

Cheers,

Revhard191

I am having my car detailed today so I may have them for you by later today or tomorrow.

I had four people in my car including myself and it does not rub at all even in U-turns, also I forged makes the perfect offset for the gs and that is why it does not rub.
