I'm about to replace my 97 SC300 with a new GS430. I liked the ride and handling of the SC300 and find the GS too soft. Do you think the L-tuned coils and shocks would be a good choice or should I drive the car for awhile with the stock suspension? Also, what do people think of the OZ 17 or 18 inch wheels? Would the Michelin XGT all-weather 17 inch tires be a good choice since I live in a snowy area.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Steve, its all depending. L-tuned is a good direction to go, and it will greatly improve your handling. Though some people want more of a drop and go with H&R's with bilstein shocks. You can get the shocks from my bud GS4WILL. Its the best price that I have seen.
H&R will get you a drop 1.4f and 1.3r. The l-tuned is around 1.2f(from what i read) and a little under 1" in the rear.

steve,
as d-man said, it all depends, looks and ride wise. by all means, try the new gs430 first for few weeks, then upgrade accordingly.
oz's are nice quality, w/the pkg deal of michelins from l-tuned, the price is good. the wheel look are very personal, so you would need look at them closely before you decide.
the michelin xgt all-weather might not work well in snowy weather. most members from that areas also have snow tyres too.
