Default rear struts interchangeable ?

stupid Question ,Can the rear struts on a sc300 be switched? (This is the whole unit)

need to replace left rear and I have an extra right rear all setup

I don't see anything wrong with that, they are exactly the same. Just make sure you have it line up correctly for the three holes on top and the bottom bracket of the strud fit over the control arm slot.

its not too advisable for more that a quick fix. when you use a used shock (any used shock for that matter) if its not installed exactly the same as before it shifts the stress points from one part of the shock to the other. if the shock was never disassembled you might be okay but either way it will probably have a reduced life.
