Which pads to use with LS400 BBK for a GS400?
I've got the front LS400 calipers coming and now need to decide on pads. Which ones work well for the GS with these new bigger calipers? EBC greenstuff or redstuff? Akebono Pro Act Ceramics? Axxis MM or Delux pads? Let me know. Thanks!

What pads are you currently using? If you are using the stock pads, then i would go for LS400 stock pads or Axxis Deluxe pads.
Axxis Ultimates will stop better, but will dust a lot and may squeel.

On my previous car i have used PORTERFILED brake pads, since i own Lexus again i was very happy that PORTERFILED makes pads for GS. I think Porterfield have 3 choices and i would go with R4-S which is right in a middle. If you are thinking about street performance these are great pads, but they are not good enough for track use, you'll burn them.
You can get them directly from their website, i'm pretty sure that prices are $119.00/front
and $79.00/rear + shipping. There is another way you can get them cheaper than that, $178.00 per set shipped from ebayer, i'll get you store info if you're intrested, oh btw pads are not so dusty as competition and from what i remember pads are CARBON/KEVLAR compound, awsome pads.

With the LS400 calipers I will need to run pads that fit the LS400. Do you know if Porterfiled mkes the R4-S pads to fit the LS400 caliper? I contacted Carbotech and they do not make pads to fit the LS400. They do make pads for the GS400. Let me know. Thanks, Scott
