Are both the LCA bushings the same size? In the illustration on parts.com the rearward oen apears to be bigger, but in that picture of the actual control arm above, they both appear to be the same size.

The reason i ask is because Im getting a pair of 97+ bushings for use in my 92 LCA, (they fit the rearward for sure) but if those bushings also fit the front of the same LCA, I might as well just get 4 and have all 4 done while Im at it.

Yes, the front part of the LCA and rear (of the front LCA) are different sizes. Whoever installs them, youself or somebody else will be able to tell the difference when they try to put it in...they only fit in the part they are designed for

Where are you ordering from?

I will be ordering them from one of the oem lexus parts sites from parts.com, most likely parts discount warehouse since they are the cheapest. The description is actually "Bushing, GS400/300, SC430" or something like that... its listed under 97+ SC400s and I was told that that bushing which retails for around $40,

will fit the larger, directional, rear bushing of the LCA that always suffers the most wear while the others remain in relatively mint condition. So I figure less than 100 for parts and 200 or so for labor and my ride quality would be much better.

I would recommend ordering it from Ryan at www.irontoad.com

They are a Dealership in Penn. They can get you the bushings for around $70.00 for all front LCAs.

800-220-2121 select 3 for Lexus Parts and ask for Ryan

That's scary dude! I'll keep a close eye on it--

I told the mechanic they took 126 ft/lb-- and he just kinda shrugged, like I was a dumb aya$$ -- He'll be the dip schit when I have to take the car back for a retorque and another alignment on their bill.
