Default Install of Front Daizen Sway Bar

I finally got my front sway bar installed this past Tuesday and have some pictures of the process if anyone is interested. The first pic is of the plastic cowling under the car that covers the bar and must be removed. This involves the removal of about 15 screws.[IMG][/IMG]

This is what the plastic piece looks like once removed.

This is one more hunk of plastic that must be removed from each side.

This is the end of the original sway bar where is connects. I have seen other threads where people wondered about this big sway bar mounting to a small piece of metal. Once I saw this, I thought the same thing.

Final shot of the bar installed and looking good!

All in all the front was much easier to install than the rear for sure.

Just wondering when you put the new bushings on the new Sway bar if there are marks on it to get the bushing and bracket in the right place when you install it on the car.... I remember doing one on my mustang and it wasn't quite even on both sides...... Do you install the bolts first?

Thanks Tony

You might want to fix your sig. It is Daizen.

The stock bar had some stops attached to the bar. The new one did not. But the bushings end up very near the ends of the bar where they curve. I basically took a tape measure to it and made sure it was even. It is only about 1/2" from each bushing to the bend.

Dyslexic I am! I guess I was not paying close enough attention to the spelling. Thanks for the heads up.
