Default EBC Greenstuff. Should I or Shouldn't I?

Hi. I will need to replace my front and rear brake pads. I think I have Greenstuff on them now. I bought the car used. I reseached for new ones and found a full set at a good price. I have read some threads here and found a couple of threads that say they are okay. I am not an aggressive driver, but sometimes you need to stop in hurry. Are the EBC Greenstuff a good choice or is there a simular alternative? Thanks for the help.

I've had greenstuff and had no problems, but have switched to Axxis and prefer them. Less mess and dust, just as good performance.

Others here have posted that redstuff are more suited for cars our size, weight

as dave mentioned , go with the new red stuff ceramics.. the greenstuff's new comp was never made for the weight of our cars , a couple of fast stops is all it takes for the greenstuff to score your rotor and leave sploaches of brake material on them as well giving you brake judder.. the ceramics disp heat away from the pad surface area thus keeping more of the heat away from the rotor surface making for better bite and little fade

where do u guys buy your EBC stuff?

and what about the rear brakes?

i'm assuming u guys are talking about the stock gs brakes and not some big-*** 40-piston caliper conversion

If you want EBC green, we have them in stock for all Lexus models, along with the Stoptech and AP racing and Supra calipers as well.

Anything else can be ordered easily.

Upgrading to braided lines is also a very effective upgrade with minimal cost.

Drilled and slotted rotors won't do anything terribly noticeable as far as performance goes.

I would recommend the Hawk hp brake pads. I have em with my Supra TT brakes and it is much better than any other combination that I had before. (TRD,EBC,RMM or Axis) Yes I have used all these other pads but it seems that this one is better. Less dust, almost no fade. I also had Cross drilled/slotted rotors
