Default Canyon running..bushings are toast!

I went canyon running last weekend and ripped the ** out of the car. Near the end of the multiple runs my brakes were red and pulsating, and smelled burnt. The car had reached it's limit.

After the run, the chassis creaked and groaned at every start of acceleration and at every stop. The suspension or brakes make creaking and popping sounds now all the time. Basically I believe I wore out the brakes and bushings.

Now what? The stock GS brakes can't handle excessive hard stopping (The IS300 could do this no problem ). Solution? Upgrade the brakes..

The control arm bushings likely need replaced now, but what are the options? Daizen doens't seem to have a product out yet, and the factory arms are pricey in their entirety.

Anyone else experience this? What were your solutions?

maybe you should check it out to see if it's really the bushings first? must be some canon runs if you wore out the whole thing in that runs

Hm, could not be the bushings? Not sure exactly, but I figured I pushed it pretty hard.

Something's creaking and popping..

Talking Where is this demon road?

Where is this road that took you to such extreme limits as to toast your bushings and make your brakes glow red?

I plan on driving down to So Cal from Seattle next April and would love to go canyon carving.

There are a few in Malibu and Ortega Highway is a legend.

It's VERY unsafe to be doing these things.

I'd rather go to a track honestly, but I don't know what to do to get there and drive! No 1st step.

I used to live in South Orange County and drove the Ortega up to the Summit from the west. Are you talking about the west side or over on the Lake Elsinore side which I have never been on.

My mom spends the winter in Anaheim so that would be an easy trip over there,

Thanks
