Poll: Camber issue for lowered rides
OK....I know most of you have lowered / dropped ur GS....and many of you have some camber issues.
Regardless of your drop height.....where do you have the worse / most severe camber issues?

My Tein CS are adjusted approx 10-15 mm from the last thread. I'm only slighty outside the camber range on the left rear. No unusal tire wear yet. It's been like that for 3 months/5000 miles.

1.3" drop, front tires wear faster on the inside, rear tire is wearing also (inside) but at a very slow rate(not really noticeable compare to the front), sorry i can't rotate my tire, but no biggie, the wear is pretty slow, probably have to change tire a few months faster that if you would normally with good camber
oh well, look better, drive better with the drop, a little of inside wearing also mean better handling too ha ha, more traction around the turn

Mine is dropped about 2" I guess. The most recent alignment revealed -1.8 degrees front & rear.
This is with the OE camber eccentric adjusters maxed-out to their most positive setting.
Suprisingly, the rear tires wear very evenly- the fronts get chewed up on the inside in a hurry.
Todd at TM Engineering and Fortune at Daizen and I have discussed this phenomenon; we belive it is toe-out related, from the "trailing" or "caster" arms bushings failing. This allows the front suspension to toe-out when the car is moving forward- even if you set the toe-in to OE specs, it will change when the car is in motion. This toe-out condition also causes a "darty" feeling at freeway speeds.
Daizen was working on a replacement bushing for this arm, as Lexus makes you purchase the entire new arm assembly. There have been issues with the bushing supplier... I broke down and bought the new control arms from the dealer. I'll install them this week (along with new lower ball joints) and give you all an updated report after the car is re-aligned!

for some reason when my car was slammed, the rear never wore out, but now i lifted it to uncut springs in the rear,,,,, the rear wears out faster now...... never understood why cause my rear cambered like crazy and the tires lasted me 30k miles.......... so for my vote as of today,the rear wears out faster than the front

My fronts are off as well, 1.3 degrees out of OE range. Rear are almost to spec with a 1.5" drop all around. Staggered set up, so no rotation for me either. Guess I'll have to find some cheap front tires

well i cant contribute much because i just recently installed my coilovers.. im hoping theres not much camber because im running a very conservative drop, 2 finger gap all around.

Todd at TMEngineering is installing the Tanabe NF-210's on Friday (1.3 inch drop in front and approx 1 inch in the rear). Anyone think this will cause a camber problem? Apparently no camber kit available. Stock 18" btw.
