are IS brakes the same as the GS?
are the brake rotors on the IS300 the same as the 2nd gen GS?

Yes, the IS300 rotors (front, rear) and pads (front, rear) are the same a s the GS.

caliper design is the same, but the GS and IS have different mounting points, so the IS and GS calipers are not interchangeable.

Good to know.. I have a friend that might be selling his bbk setup off his IS.. guess its back to Supra TT search..

The IS BBK for the fronts will not fit, unless you modify the brackets. However, the IS rear brake calipers and rotors are the same as the 2ndGenGS
