Off the top of my head...i think it was 13 or 18 ft/lbs for the U brackets.

Endlinks....I dont remember a torque spec....just tight as possible cuz these tend to get loose from the vibration.

Oh yah....make sure to use threadlockers on all the bolts.

Looks good to me. After I centered my bar, the end links weren't vertical while the car was on jack stands. I didn't bother to check after I lowered it to the ground. Have fun on the road test.

jellybean/lexforlife, thank you all your help and answering my questions. i couldn't have done it without all your tips.

i have more question on the front bar and the the attachment to the end links:

do the sways look right on the pictures or do i need to turn them around the other way:

these aren't from my car but the attachment is the same.

please check your front sway attachment and see which way the end link is facing.

i read some where this is critical.

thanks again

I just soiled my starched shirt so you owe me my next dry cleanig bill. I checked and it's the same as pictured. I'm getting anxious here, so wrap it up and go and straighten out some curves!

jellybean,

i seached this site and came across this by todd at TM Engineering:

"Ummm...you didn't turn the front end link around as specified in the instructions. This is VERY important.

Better climb back under there and compare your install to the picture on the instruction sheet.

Let us know if you have any other questions"

here is the link for the whole story regarding the front endlink. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=daizen+front

i dont have a manual so i can check to see if this is the case.

can anyone check on this with the daizen manual???

thanks

Interesting. I threw away the Daizen instruction sheet but it was completely silent about flipping or reversing the FRONT end links (so that the end link mounting plate sits in front of the sway bar?). It clearly warned, however, about reversing the REAR end links, which you did. The only special instructions for the front bars was to retorque the rectangular sheet-metal brackets (for lack of a better term) at each end. Otherwise the front bar is a straight swap. Better email Todd and get clarification. Post his reply, please.

i was just thinking, can you actually turn the endlink the opposite direction? i don't think this can be done????if the plate is in the front of the bar, what do you do with the one stationary bolt attached to the link? this cannot be removed.

very confusing???
