Hey guys,

What does the TRD chassis brace provide that the stock chassis brace does not?
I just want to make sure that I need the TRD chassis brace before I buy it.

Thanks

Question

Can someone explain exactly what it does and how it effects normal and aggressive driving?

yap, I have the same question as RealMarty. What benefit do I get by having the bigger and stronger chassis brace. Is it really worth having it? I know I want to install the TRD front and rear sway bar, but I am not quite sure about this chassis brace.

I really don't know how much of an effect the beefier lower chassis or strut tower braces have since I had them installed at the same time as more significant upgrades (springs/shocks/STB, then later sways/LCB).

Since the car already has an LCB I figure the STB is more important, and some people say they definitely noticed an improvement in handling with just the STB and no other handling mods. I got the LCB because I figured what the hell... but the STB is not only apparently functional, it looks GREAT under the hood. Nice thick bar with very nice gray metallic finish.
