Default ? for GS owners with Tein CS...

What's the best setting for Tein CS both front and rear? I don't have EDFC so I want to pre-set it at the installation and leave it along. I don't mind stiffness and I want more sporty than comfy. I was thinking 4 clicks for both front and rear, what do you think?

Thanks.

No real "optimal" setting, except something in the middle. You'll probably want to set it for around 4 or 5, for stiffness and control purposes. If you live where the roads are smooth, then you may even opt for a 2 or 3 setting.

If your roads are bad, then maybe around 7 or 8, for optimal comfort/handling purposes.

I change mine quite often with the EDFC depending on mood/road surface/weather condition/location.

Even on "0" the ride is not even rough at all, I am rollin on 20" and it doesn't even compare to a Mazda RX-7 with the R1 package.

Thanks for the replies. I think i will set it to "0" to begin with. How about the ride height? If I want about 1 finger gap all around, how many threads from the bottom should I adjust the rings to?

yeah i agree, if you don't mind stiffer ride for better handling, get it on 0 and 0, good handling. or if you want, 0 front and 2 in the back. abit softer back is better for handling
