Anyone have any info on a harnes barthat fits in the sc any info is appreciated thanks pic taken from mvp motorsports.

I've only heard of the Sparco one made for the MK4 Supra. I read that with modification it could be made to fit.

i would be interested in knowing as well, this is really a grey area.... i have seen them on the SC before, but dont know if they were custom or what the deal was.

I want more info on this also... I want one but not right now. Not fast enough for one yet. Plus it think it would look nice with a video camera mounted on it.. . (mmmmm race car)

The bar will fit with some minor modification. Had to fab an extension for the 2 down tubes to fit around the seat belt slider. Had to bend some heavy gauge bar stock.

I Know this a old post. i looked around before posting the question. so there is still no product avaiable for our cars? i looked every on yahoo searching even ebay!! i was thinking of buying this one harness bar from a mkIV 93+ supra off ebay for $175 and checking out what i can do with it. dont want to spend mad loot for a sparco and end up still modding it.any other ideas or any thing would be great thanks to all at CL!

as gadget said the supra bar will fit with minor modifications or make your own. those are your options

The Bar itself bolts right in to the seat belt mounts with no modification required. The 2 down tubes are about 2" short which required extensions that I made with steel bar stock. I dont even use the tubes anymore since installing a Cusco cage.

Isn't running the bar above your seats bad when you are using harnesses?

Actually it's better to have the bar above than below. There are guidelines for a min/max angle of the harnesses. Having the bar mounted too far below would cause the harness to pull down on you excessively. The instructions can be found on Sparco's website.
