I bought your typical ebay harness bar, looks like an NRG one, same hardware. Fit like a dream, noticed some stiffness. Although I don't have a harness yet as I'm still saving up for a seat smh.

For the main bar, make sure the side plates are in between the 2 plastic seatbelt components. Then thread in the allen screw. You're gonna have to do some shoving, pushing and sweating to get it to reach the other side, but it does. Once you do, thread in that other allen screw and you can finally let go. It's a good thing they make those holes slotted.

i got the sparco one, I'm really starting to think they sent me the wrong one. the bar won't fit even hole to hole without the plastic pieces. no amount of pushing, shoving, tugging, wedging, or prying has helped. but thank you for your feedback, it is good to know that it is supposed to fit in between the two plastic pieces

if someone does have the sparco one, could you please please please either post pics of it installed (specifically where it mounts to the upper seat belt holes) or even measure your bar's length. i can't figure out any way for this bar to work, so either they sent me the wrong bar or i am pretty much retarded. either way it seems i have a problem on my hand.

Sorry to bump, but any more info on harness bar options....When I googled it I found:

TDA Motorsports

Cipher Auto

They both showed applications for harness bars for the SC, but I don't see them on here.

I just did a quick Google search and found that Ciperauto is still around and still sells their SC300/400/Soarer harness bar for about $270. P/N CPA5008HB-BK on their website.

No experience with one myself but just from the search it looks like several other companies still offer SC harness bar kits as well.

Thanks! I was hoping to find someone running one with some feedback. I might just have to risk it.
