Default Anyone fit stock 17's with Supra Brakes?

I have a '92 SC400 with GS 17" rims.. I have a set of Supra brakes that I want to put on but I know the rims won't clear the calipers.. has anyone with a GS try to install Supra brakes on their stock 17's? If so, what size spacers did you need? Thanks..

I know for the 98+ GS w/ 17"s you need the 15mm spacer. That is what RMM required to use with it's GS big brake ( AKA Supra) to fit w/ yhe 17" wheel.

i think 15 might do it. i know someone with 20mm h&r and it fits over the ap racing by a big margin so it should be ok.

i thought it would have to be a lot more, gues i was wrong

You think I could get away with 6-pot AP RAcing brakes and just use a spacer with my stock lexus wheels?

I ask as I have 2 sets and love the look of them both.

I doubt it if you are talking about the 17s. The APs come with 14" (actually slightly bigger) rotors and that won't work on 17s. I had 18s with 14" rotors and the caliper just fit.

nop, depends. rmmgs4 has ap racing and my stock 17s are on his car right now with 20mm spacer!!!!!!!!

there are two ap racing setup for our cars, 13.5 and 14" setup. the 14's you can forget it coz' like neo siad you need 18" wheels

but on 13.5" you can perfectly use 17" no problem. and i confirmed that with stillen before too. they have 13.5" setup only coz' they want to allow 17s to fit on it.

so all you need is 20mm spacer. i actually think 15mm will work, but never measure it.

and i can tell you, the brakes fit like "perfect inside the wheel, all the way to the edge

My bad. I thought when they came out with the 14.25 setup, they got rid of the 13.5.

haha, no problem, it's indeed pretty confusing. i don't think the 14" setup came out until last yr or so, probably coz' 18s are more common now

15mm spacer will work for sure but you will need to get the elongated studs. If you want I can sell my set (spacers and studs) to you. PM me
